Did someone say Vegan Big Mac Sauce? This classic combination of mayo (egg-free of course), relish, mustard, ketchup, and spices is just about as American as it gets. We aren’t joking when we say you can put this sh*t on everything.
A few weeks ago, I was browsing our friend Liv B’sSaucy ebook when I came across her “Mac Sauce” recipe. I ended up making it and it brought me right back to my childhood. I immediately felt inspired to make my own version of a Vegan Big Mac Sauce, so here it is.
It has been many years (probably around 12) since I’ve had a Big Mac, but something about that special sauce has always stuck with me. It carries such a distinct and delicious flavor; it’s hard to forget. Luckily for us, it can easily be veganized and I am about to show you how it’s done.
While experimenting with this Vegan Big Mac Sauce, I made some Big Mac Fries and OMG, they’re to die for. These fries are literally what you would find on a Big Mac, but instead of a bun, all of the ingredients are over fries. Talk about perfection!
These Vegan Big Mac Fries are perfect to serve as a party snack! If you are looking for more epic vegan party food ideas, here are some of our favorites:

Ingredients
1 cup vegan mayo (we used Vegenaise)
1/4 cup ketchup
1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons mustard
2 teaspoons sweet relish
1/4 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
In a small or medium-sized bowl combine all ingredients and stir until fully combined. If you would like to thin out the sauce a bit, add water 1 teaspoon at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.
Serve on a sandwich, with french fries, or as a dip. Enjoy!
Notes
This sauce tastes even better when you place it into the refrigerator to chill for a few hours or overnight.
Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

I made this yesterday to accompany Beyond Burgers I grilled up. We don’t keep sweet relish on hand, so I used dill instead. The sauce is very simple and delicious. It brought our burgers to the next level. I kind of wish I had tater tots or french fries to dip in it too. My 13 year old said, if she found out she could only ever have one more burger, it would be one with this sauce. Thanks for the recipe.

What kind of mustard did you use? The picture looks like maybe a stone ground mustard?
We used stone ground mustard, but yellow mustard would work well too.

Just made this today, and it was just as I remembered it! Thank you!

Perfect! I did have to sub in dill relish rather than sweet (which I upped to about 2 Tablespoons), so I added a bit of agave, maybe 1 teaspoon.
