Description
Learn how to make this easy no cook vegan breakfast that requires just 5 ingredients and 5 minutes to prepare. It is perfect for meal prep and a great way to change things up in the morning!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened oat milk (or plant based milk of choice)
- 3 large oranges (for 1 cup fresh orange juice* and 1/2 teaspoon zest)
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or liquid sweetener of your choice)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Zest and juice your oranges. Transfer both to a large jar or medium-sized sealable container, along with all of the remaining ingredients for the pudding. Mix until uniform.
- Seal the container and place it into the refrigerator overnight (or for at least 3 hours, but the longer the better).
- Once the chia pudding has set,ย remove it from the refrigerator and give it a good mix. Adjust the sweetener if desired.
- Serve with any toppings of your choice and enjoy!
Notes
- If you don’t have a citrus juicer or just simply do not want to make orange juice, you can slice the peels off of the orange (trying your best to remove all of the white pith as you can), slice it, remove any seeds it may have, and then blend the oranges in a high speed blender until a smooth mixture forms.
