A homemade vegan tartar sauce that requires just 5 simple ingredients and is easy to make.
All you have to do is whisk everything together into a bowl, put it in the refrigerator for an hour to set and then dig in! 


Homemade Vegan Tartar Sauce | Easy + 5-Ingredients

Description
A homemade vegan tartar sauce that requires just 5 simple ingredients and is easy to make. We love to serve this alongside our vegan crab cakes, mushroom calamari, in sandwiches and even alongside fries!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup vegan mayonnaise (we used Follow Your Heart)
- 1 tablespoon relish
- 1 teaspoon yellow or German mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Fresh black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Whisk all of the ingredients together in a small bowl and adjust seasonings to taste.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set and allow the flavors to marry together.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

This looks amazing!!? what can I use instead of the vegan mayonnaise or oil?
Hi! I have not tested this out yet, but a plain vegan yogurt may work with this, it will just be a bit runny. Another option is homemade vegan cashew mayonnaise! I have seen a few recipes online ๐
