Easy Overnight Chia Oatmeal {gluten-free}

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1 cup liquid (I use half almond milk half water)
  • 1 heaping tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/21 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Dash vanilla bean powder or extract
  • + stevia to taste

Instructions

  1. In a 16oz mason jar or container of choice, add in all of the ingredients.
  2. Mix up well, seal shut and place in refrigerator overnight.
  3. In the morning, mix again and top with anything you’d like 🙂 I chose fresh fruit, more chia seeds and cacao nibs!

Notes

This recipe can be kept for 3 days in the refrigerator in a sealed air tight container.

  1. This is a great basic recipe to then go crazy with some fruity toppings on! I love the chia seed addition, why not make them extra thick and delicious! Yay for easy 🙂

    1. Yes!! I was using steel cut oats for a bit, but when I went back to rolled oats I realized I loved them SO MUCH more simply because they were thicker and had more of a chew. So when I added chia seeds to the rolled oats, man was I in for a treat!! Thanks for stopping by Natalie, I appreciate your constant support <3
