  • 3 tablespoons vegan butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, sliced thin

Cake:

  • 1 ¾ cups (225g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¾ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
  • ⅓ cup neutral oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract


Instructions

  8. Cool and invert. Cool the cake for 10 minutes, then run a knife around the edges. Invert it onto a plate or serving platter while still warm.
