Learn how to make fresh and delicious guacamole at home with this simple recipe. It’s made with just a handful of ingredients, and the whole family will love it!


  • 3 large ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
  • 1/3 cup finely diced red or white onion
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (we prefer Roma)
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 to 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and finely diced
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced or 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)


  1. Add the avocado flesh to a medium sized bowl and mash it with a fork until smooth (or until it reaches your desired consistency).
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix until well combined. Taste and adjust ingredients as desired.
  3. Serve immediately or place it into a sealable bowl with plastic wrap over the guacamole (with the plastic touching the guacamole) and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
