Description
Learn how to make this easy dog-friendly ice cream sundae with just a few simple ingredients. This will have your pup wagging their tail for more!
Ingredients
“Granola”
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped Wild Earth Strawberry & Beet dog treats
“Ice Cream”
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 tablespoon coconut milk (or water)
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
Instructions
- For the granola: In a wide pan over medium heat, add in the coconut oil until melted. Add in the oats, shredded coconut, and chopped peanuts, and toast for 4-6 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Remove from heat and cool for a few minutes, then stir in the Wild Earth Dog Treats. Store in an airtight container for about 2 weeks.
- For the “ice cream”” remove the bananas from the freezer and allow them to thaw for 10 minutes. Add them to a food processor along with the remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
- Transfer to a bowl (we only served our dog 1/2 of this and saved the rest for later) and add granola and other toppings of your choice. Serve immediately.
