Description
These vegan chocolate protein bliss balls are delicious, easy-to-make and free of gluten, oil, and refined sugar. They are the perfect healthy snack!
Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup gluten-free quick oats or gluten-free rolled oats
- 2 scoops (46 g) Orgain vegan chocolate protein powder
- 1/4 cup + 2 Medjool dates, pitted and packed
- ~1/4 cup water (coconut water or non-dairy milk works, too)
- 1 tablespoon organic maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- If you are using rolled oats, place into a food processor and run until broken down into the consistency of quick oats and uniform, about 30 seconds or so.
- Place all of the remaining ingredients into a food processor and run until a dough forms, adding more coconut water a tablespoon at a time as needed (the dough should stay together when you press it between your fingers).
- Scoop the dough into a tablespoon-sized ball, being sure to press it tightly to help it stay together. Continue until all of the dough has been rolled into balls.
- Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Notes
- If you do not want to use protein powder, you can replace it with 3 tablespoons of cocoa or cacao powder.
- If you use a different protein powder, keep in mind that it will alter the flavor, sweetness, etc.
