Description

This vegan garlic butter is a simple way to upgrade your meals with little effort. Just mix a few pantry staples with dairy-free butter for a creamy, garlicky spread that’s great on toast, pasta, veggies, potatoes, and more. It’s perfect for busy weeknights when you want to make a meal more exciting in a hurry. If you want a garlic butter that’s bold, easy to spread, and made with just a few ingredients, this is the one.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup dairy-free butter, room temperature
  • 6 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Set the butter out on the counter to soften to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
  2. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl until uniform.

Notes

  • For Garlic Bread: Spread the garlic butter generously on your favorite bread, then bake for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees F, or until golden.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Freezer: For longer storage, scoop the butter onto parchment paper, shape it into a log, wrap it tightly, and freeze for up to 2 months. Just slice off what you need and put the rest back in the freezer.
  • Parsley: To replace fresh with dried, use about 1/3 teaspoon to start.
