My Two Go-To Green Smoothies

Ingredients

Simple Green Smoothie:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup greens of choice
  • Optional: Handful of fresh parsley or basil

Complex Green Smoothie:

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup of spinach or kale (or mix of both)
  • 11 1/2 cups water, or as needed for desired consistency
  • 1 persian cucumber
  • 1 apple
  • 1 stalk celery
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Handful fresh parsley
  • 1/41/2” fresh ginger root

Instructions

  1. Blend greens and water until broken.
  2. Add in the rest of the ingredients, blend until smooth and enjoy!
