Today we are sharing with you an easy and healthy ginger miso dressing– it will take your salads to the next level and is ready in just 5 minutes! We asked on Instagram what sort of recipes our community would like for the #SSVHealthy2018 Challenge, and there was an overwhelming amount of requests for oil-free dressings.
Chris and I got into the kitchen and came up with two brand new and ammmmazing dressings…if I do say so myself 😉 My contribution was this Ginger Miso Dressing, while he put together a Creamy Chipotle Dressing that you should also check out! And fear not — vegan miso exists! When I first went vegan I assumed all miso contained fish, but there are many on the market from Miso Master that do not!
Miso dressings were one of my favorites growing up and I don’t know why it took us this long to make one of our own because of how easy it was. Not only is this great in salads, but also over steamed veggies and potatoes!Make sure you tag us on Instagram @sweetsimplevegan and @consciouschris and hashtag #sweetsimplevegan if you recreate any of our recipes as well as #SSVHealthy2018 if you’re joining in on the January challenge, we love to see your photos!

Very yummy!
I didn’t have enough rice vinegar so I completed with soy sauce. It was very good, with kale and broccoli. Thank you!
I just made this for the second time using my Vitamix. I doubled everything except for the vinegar and the tahini and added 150g of silken tofu (1/2 a package here in Canada). Creamiest most perfect consistency & flavored salad dressing! Will definitely make again 🙂
1st try, I added about 1 large teaspoon of fresh grated ginger. Next time will add more. Definitely needs rice vinegar, its more mild.
I topped my spiralized zucchini, sweet potato and carrots with it. Very nice! I will definitely make this again. Thank you Jasmine!
This dressing is divine! It’s great as a salad dressing or a sauce for a stir fry. I’ve made this 3-4 times in the past couple of weeks. Thanks for creating it !
Bomb. Best oil-free dressing that I have made so far, truly.
I made this when I was in a hurry and googled “miso dressing.” I loved its simplicity and that it’s oil free. I substituted fresh garlic for garlic powder and threw everything in the Vita-mix for ease. I will make this again and again.
